NCYC Cultures
Cultures may be purchased from the NCYC, either as live cultures, in freeze dried form, or in bulk wet yeast form. Full information about all NCYC cultures including pricing information is available in the searchable database; cultures can be ordered directly from this database.The NCYC also supply highly purified genomic DNA from a range of NCYC strains. This DNA is intended for use as a template in PCR experiments.
Cultures are supplied on the understanding that end users will comply with the Convention on Biological Diversity. The recipient shall not sell, lend, distribute, or otherwise transfer the material received from NCYC to any others, except those within the same Company, Institution or Research Group. The recipient agrees to acknowledge the NCYC as the source of the material in all publications and patent applications that refer to this material.
