Saccharomyces Genome Resequencing Project Strains

The Sanger Centre's Saccharomyces Genome Resequencing Project (SGRP) has involved the sequencing of 36 Saccharomyces cerevisiae haploid strains and 35 Saccharomyces paradoxus haploid strains. These strains are available to purchase from the NCYC. All strains available are single spore derivatives as used to sequence.

The SGRP strain set is supplied in 8 x 12 format in individual tubes, for improved sample retrieval. The caps are suitable for manual removal or automated piercing.
