Strain Information

    Type strain of Zygosaccharomyces amoeboideus. Sequencing work carried out in 2005 showed NCYC 582 to be a strain of Torulaspora delbrueckii (see sequence data). We therefore believe the strain was either mis-identified on deposit or was a mixed culture which now consists entirely of Torulaspora delbrueckii.
